If you're interested in getting involved with Dirt Bikes in Darwin, then the DMCC is for you. From side by side Thumpers racing, to enduro races through the natural bush terrain of the Northern Territory, the DMCC offers a full calendar of interesting and exciting dirt bike events.
To a dirt bike rider, these things are all part of the excitement and fun of going for a ride on race day. (or any other day out riding)
Come on out and join the many people who just like to ride in the dirt. Age and gender are no barrier in the DMCC. We promote safe and considerate riding and are always looking for new members, or for volunteers who just want to help out.
When visiting a race track for the first time, it can be a bit daunting. Please observe any signs, don't cross over taped off or fenced off areas and don't go onto the race track. If you're not sure where you can go, have a chat with the guys manning the BBQ under the big tent, they will be able to point you in the right direction (and you can grab some food and drinks while you're there).
DMCC promotes safe and responsible riding and care of the environment. Don't forget to check out the "Public Safety Notice" and "Race Day Advice" pages found on this site. Please be aware of your surroundings when riding or watching and take care while out and about and enjoy your day.
There is also the friendly social atmosphere which provides an excellent opportunity to tap into an exclusive pool of knowledge and experience on many aspects of bike set ups and tuning, riding and racing techniques and locations of various riding areas to practice on.
The DMCC doesn't have a home track as such but endeavours to find various locations to race on and run events, following consultation with the Department of Planning and Infrastructure, Land Administration. Lands Administration has asked that the venue's we use be left the way we found them and that no rubbish be left behind. Should you come out to ride on any of the tracks in the vicinity of DMCC race events please ensure that you remove all your rubbish.
DMCC is the oldest motor sports club in Darwin, going back to the 1940's. It has been associated with the Hidden Valley Tavern area since the late 1960's and held a lease on the area until the club surrendered in the early 1980' so the Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex could be created.
DMCC has grown stronger then ever, and is the host club for the Kamfari, over time with commitment from parents and riders, DMCC is the club it is today, vibrant and energetic and getting bigger and better every year.
